Azlitah Jaffar - Founder & Lead Practitioner

I am a psychotherapist, psychological sexologist, and therapeutic programme developer with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and groups through life transitions, relational challenges, and emotional healing. My work is grounded in creating safe, compassionate spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Counselling and am a Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). I am also a Transactional Analysis practitioner, MEMI-trained, and an American Board of Sexology (ABS)-certified sexologist, with my work in sexuality focused strictly on psychological, relational, and emotional dimensions, not medical or physical treatment.

I work with individuals navigating:
Trauma and adverse life experiences
Behavioural and substance-related addictions
Relational and attachment difficulties
Emotional regulation challenges
Identity, life transitions, and personal development
Sexuality, intimacy, and relational wellbeing

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and integrative, grounded in:

Person-Centred Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

BrainSwitch 2.0

MEMI (eye–brain integration work)

I work relationally and trauma-informed, adapting each session to the client’s pace, culture, and lived experience.
Beyond therapy, I bring clinical leadership, supervision, and programme development experience, supporting practitioners in reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and safe service delivery. My work extends into group facilitation, service design, and community mental health education.

I founded The Mosaic Roots Project to offer clinically grounded, community-based programmes that strengthen resilience, emotional wellbeing, and personal agency. Alongside my clinical work, I remain committed to accessible, ethical, and compassionate mental health care, shaped by years of community and public service.
